As Chief Financial Officer, John Scott is responsible for all aspects of accounting, tax, and financial operations for Crossgate Partners.

In 1991, John began his professional career with Moss Adams, LLP, a public accounting firm in Beaverton, Oregon. While at Moss Adams, he was a senior auditor managing client financial statement audits and tax work. He also focused on financial projections, insurance litigation, and computerized accounting setup and training. Starting in 1995, John was instrumental in the planning, setup, and design of financial systems and reporting for the European region of a global leadership development organization. John returned to the United States and in January of 1998 took on the role of Chief Financial Officer of the organization, serving alongside Jeff Neuber. When Crossgate Partners, LLC was founded he took on the role as CFO for both companies and continues to ensure proper and accurate financial reporting as well as compliance with all the complex tax regulations associated with real estate investment and development.

John earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of San Diego in 1991. He is a certified public accountant in the state of Oregon (Inactive).
